ABBOTSFORD Police announced on Thursday that a 62-year-old male patient, Neale Heath, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the attack on a nurse at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
On September 24, just after 2 a.m., Abbotsford Police patrol officers were called to the hospital for a report that an on-duty nurse had been assaulted.
Police determined that the nurse had been attacked by a patient, resulting in serious injuries to her head and face, requiring immediate medical attention.
