CHARGES have been approved by BC Prosecution Service following a Vancouver Police investigation into a violent assault at the Granville SkyTrain Station.

Bradley King has now been charged with one count of assault in connection with the March 1 incident, which occurred following a verbal confrontation between the victim and the suspect. VPD investigators believe the victim was followed by the suspect, pushed down a set of stairs and kicked.

Last week, VPD released security video of the incident, and after more than 80,000 views and shares on social media, a witnesses spotted the suspect downtown and phoned 9-1-1.

King has been released until his next court appearance.
