CONSERVATIVE Leader Pierre Poilievre on Tuesday released his Conservative Plan for Change that he said would lower food and housing costs, stop crime and bring home jobs to put ‘Canada First.’
He claimed that a new Conservative government over the next four years will save Canada $125 billion compared to the Liberals.
The Conservative plan:
- Cuts the Liberal deficit by 70% with less spending on bureaucracy, consultants, foreign aid and handouts to insiders and special interests, while boosting growth with resource jobs.
- Lowers income tax 15% saving the average worker $900 and average working family $1,800.
- Builds 2.3 million homes by axing taxes to save $100,000 a home, selling off federal land and getting gatekeepers out of the way to speed up building.
- Locks up criminals to make you safe.
- Puts ‘Canada First.’
“Canada needs real change,” said Poilievre. “It’s time for a new Conservative Government that will axe taxes, build homes, unlock our resources, unleash our economy, stop crime and bring home powerful paycheques to put ‘Canada First’.”
The Conservatives said: “Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party are the only ones with a plan for real change in this election. A plan to reverse the disastrous Liberal record, cut the cost of food and housing, let you keep more of what you earn and kill inflation so your dollar goes further. A plan to build homes, unleash the economy, stop crime, bring immigration back under control, and put Canada First—For a Change.
