DESPITE all the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the brave, determined women of Sanjha Vehra Women’s Association managed to raise $10,000 this year and donated it to Surrey Hospital Foundation.

Every year with the support of their media partners, the group members reach out to their community to raise funds for their annual breast cancer fundraiser. This year, during their 16th breast cancer fundraiser, they were unfortunately unable to celebrate their event together at a banquet hall in October because of the pandemic.

Also, Sanjha Vehra Women’s Association has approached Kuldip Ardawa of Food Bank and pledged to donate $1,000 to the Food Bank.
