At the Surrey Board of Trade’s 49th President’s Dinner and Annual General Meeting on June 20th, a donation was made to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation in the amount of $1,265.00. This donation was made by the Surrey Board of Trade-Junior Achievement Youth Leaders Team, sponsored by Envision Financial. The monies are the net profits from the Youth Team’s business, a six month project where a group of twenty Grade 10-12 students start a business, choose a product, sell their products, liquidate their assets, pay themselves as shareholders and give back to the community – all mentored by the Surrey Board of Trade and Junior Achievement of BC.
