VANCOUVER Police are investigating the murder of a 36-year-old Vancouver man after he died Monday in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Police believe Neil Scarisbrick was punched near Hastings and Columbia streets and died as a result of his injuries.

Investigators believe that the victim and suspect are known to each other and that there is no risk to the public.
