THE Vancouver Orchid Society is hosting a summer sale on August 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southlands Nursery, 6550 Balaclava Street, Vancouver.  They will have a mix of commercial vendors (or their representatives), and hobby vendors, 12 in total. Commercial vendors include Ching Hua Orchids (Taiwan), Ecuagenera (Ecuador), Kitty’s Orchids (Vancouver), Paramount Orchids (Parksville, BC) and Ten Shin Gardens (Taiwan). Free admission. There will be lots of interesting orchids available for purchase and lots of orchid enthusiasts who are more than happy to share their knowledge and answer any orchid related questions that people may have.
