CANADIAN High Commissioner in New Delhi, Nadir Patel, tweeted  on Tuesday: “Third special flight with #Canadians returning home is in the air, left #Mumbai this morning with #Canadians that were stranded in #Maharashtra and surrounding areas including #Gujarat & #Goa@CanadainIndia“

On Sunday, Patel had tweeted that for Canadians in Punjab, “we have now added special flights from Amritsar April 7th and 9th.” He added: “Details have been sent to those registered with us on ROCA.”

And for Canadians in South India, there was this message: ” Canadians in Southern India: Book your tickets here https://forms.gle/NXhiDYvQVNSaGhk38… for the flight from #Bengaluru on April 8. Also see latest ROCA message for more info.”

And on Monday morning, Patel had tweeted: “Second special flight left Delhi this morning with 300+ #Canadians on their way home. The logistics have been complex, we appreciate your patience and understanding @CanadainIndia”
