B.C. Liberals attack NDP on blockades

B.C. Liberal candidate Peter Milobar on Tuesday said that the ongoing blockade of railway tracks in East Vancouver will further erode confidence in the B.C. economy.

“The fact that a radical group like Extinction Rebellion feels free to shut down our critical economic infrastructure is a direct result of the NDP government encouraging illegal blockades through inaction,” said Milobar. “It’s long past time that we restore confidence in British Columbia and start the hard work of rebuilding our economy and protecting jobs.”

Milobar said that blockades against our critical infrastructure represent a failure of leadership by Premier John Horgan and his government.

“It is time for a government that can restore confidence and begin to rebuild British Columbia,” he said.
