Delta’s May 17 Dennison Park fire deemed suspicious

AN early morning Tsawwassen fire on May 17 has been declared suspicious, Delta Police said on Wednesday. A building used to store athletic gear and equipment was destroyed by the fire. The investigation to date has not identified anyone responsible for this fire.

Delta Police are urging any witnesses who may have observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of Dennison Park to come forward. Additionally, anyone with video footage from security cameras, dash cams, or mobile devices between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on May 17 near Dennison Park is asked to share their video with the police’s investigative team.

“Your cooperation is vital in helping us determine the cause of this fire and the identity of anyone who may be responsible for it,” said Delta Police.
