Legends Unite for Movie Night at Holland Park

What do Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy have in common? Come to Movies Under the Stars presented by Prospera Credit Union to find out!

On Saturday, August 10th, Rise of the Guardians will be the second movie of the summer shown at Holland Park in Surrey. In this action-packed adventure, classic childhood legends are on a mission to protect the hopes and imagination of children from the evil spirit “Pitch” and his infectious nightmares.

The movie will start at dusk, but everyone is invited to come early. Entertainment and fun activities start at 5pm for those audience goers who want to come early to get a good seat. This Saturday, Surrey Libraries’ Children’s Storyteller will entertain and inspire children of all ages with puppets, songs, and stories. Plus, there will be a special surprise at 8pm that you won’t want to miss!
Bring a picnic, stop by one of the local restaurants or come prepared for the North Surrey Lions scrumptious barbecue – all proceeds from the barbecue will go to local charities including the North Surrey Lions Elementary School Book Program and KidSport.

There will also be an opportunity for movie-goers to win tickets to see Dora the Explorer Live at the Bell Centre on October 12th as well as participate in audience draws to win prizes donated by local businesses.

So start looking for your lawn chairs and picnic gear – you have Saturday night plans for the rest of the month! Kung Fu Panda 2 will be shown on August 17, The Croods will hit the screen on the 24th and Bollywood Under the Stars will take place on August 31.
