THE New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Nishan.

Nishan was last seen on June 26 at approximately 4 p.m. in the Queensborough neighbourhood of New Westminster. Nishan is described as a 28-year-old South Asian male, standing 5’6” tall, and weighing approximately 145 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue turban, a black and white letterman style jacket, and a white t-shirt, and was carrying a backpack.

“We are asking the public to help us locate Nishan,” said Sgt. Andrew Leaver. “As you move through the region this weekend we ask that you keep an eye out for him.”

Nishan may be using public transit. If you see Nishan, police ask that you call 9-1-1 without delay.
