PREMIER Christy Clark met with Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon in Victoria on Tuesday at Government House to ask her to dissolve the legislature and issue the writ of election, officially kicking off the 28-day provincial election campaign.
The provincial election will take place on May 9, 2017.
