RIDGE Meadows RCMP said on Wednesday that they have seized two weapons after an incident that took place earlier this month.

On October 9 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a report from a local business of a suspicious vehicle in the area of 20700 Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge.

Police attended the scene and observed four occupants inside a vehicle parked in the area. When searching the vehicle, police seized a firearm and a taser.

Four people were arrested for possession of a weapon. Charges have been recommended against the four individuals.

This is an active and ongoing investigation and no further information is available, police said.
