Singing of Indian National Anthem to create a “Rashtra Gaan” record

INDIAN Consul General Manish is requesting all members of Indian diaspora living in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and North West Territories to sing the Indian National Anthem as India celebrates the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his “Man Ki Baat” address on July 25 urged citizens to sing the country’s national anthem to create a “Rashtra Gaan” record, as part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

In this regard, a web portal has been created by India’s Ministry of Culture. Indian Diaspora members can upload their own video singing the national anthem on the web portal. Follow the steps below for singing and uploading your video.
