The public is invited to attend this free event to learn about all the different policing tools, techniques, and resources used to help keep the community safe.
What: Surrey RCMP Open House (Free)
When: May 14, 12-3 p.m.
Where: Surrey RCMP Main Detachment (14355 57 Avenue)

There will be police boats, bikes, vehicles and Air 1 helicopter on-site, with lots of hands-on activities, free food and chance to meet police pups. In addition, there will be an opportunity to send Assistant Commissioner Brian Edwards for a swim in the dunk tank with all proceeds raised going directly to Cops for Cancer – Tour De Valley 2022.
“After a two-year hiatus, it is exciting to be able to gather again as a community to showcase the services and programs the Surrey RCMP has to offer,” says Cpl. Vanessa Munn. “We look forward to this opportunity to interact with our local residents at this fun family friendly event.”
Everyone is encouraged to dress for the weather as the majority of the activities will be held outside in an area with minimal shade. In addition, bring a refillable water bottle and utilize the onsite water stations to minimize our environmental impact.
