TWO people, known to each other, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a dispute involving a knife.
At approximately 4 p.m. on Friday, March 7, Delta Police attended the 11500-block of 81A Avenue for a report of a bleeding woman in the street. Officers located a 34-year-old Delta woman with stab wounds. They then located a 37-year-old Delta man in a basement suite who also had a knife wound.
Both injured parties were transported to hospital for treatment. The woman is in stable condition, while the man was released from hospital and is in police custody. Charges have not yet been sworn.
Both parties are known to each other, and the injuries are believed to be from a dispute between the parties, police said.
