Why Eby says there is only $150M for Surrey policing transition

“HAVING a shadow-boxing discussion about money on line items we don’t have awareness of, we don’t know what the mayor is talking about when she says there’s more costs, it’s just impossible.”
With that, Premier David Eby on Monday showed why he won’t offer more than $150M to the City of Surrey for the municipal policing transition — at least not until the City shows clear evidence of the costs it is claiming.

In other words, Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke and her four Surrey Connect councillors have been playing so much dirty politics on this issue that it is IMPOSSIBLE to trust them.

But unfortunately, some mainstream media journalists are either so dumb or just plain prejudiced that they fail to get the reality of the situation and keep sowing seeds of confusion — which is why people trust social media more than them!

Eby noted that although Locke has claimed that the transition would leave Surrey with a $314M shortfall over the next decade, he still has to see the evidence.

So now the ball is in Locke’s court — but don’t expect her to come clean as her past conduct has shown.

And, of course, the RCMP will keep egging her — and some journalists — on as they are sore losers whose dirty politics has been exposed left, right and centre.
