A Canadian Press report says that Canada is offering workshops on Canadian legal standards to Indian officials in the wake of the controversy and tension caused by the Khalistan movement.  India’s take on extremism and terrorism is different from how Canada views such matters. This was explained to Canadian MPs this month by a senior bureaucrat Weldon Epp.

He reportedly said that Justice Canada and the RCMP had in the past effectively conducted such workshops with the Indians.
