FOR the first time since the party’s founding 60 years ago, this year’s BC NDP Convention will be held virtually from November 19-21.

This convention is an opportunity for BC NDP members and supporters to gather and celebrate the achievements of Premier John Horgan’s BC NDP government since last fall’s record-breaking electoral victory; to debate policy resolutions; and to elect the next provincial executive who will guide the party through the next two years, the NDP said in a press statement.

Speakers will include:

• Premier John Horgan

• Jagmeet Singh, Leader of the federal NDP

• Delara Burkhardt, Member of the European Parliament, German SPD Party

• Hayden Munro, Campaign Manager, New Zealand Labour Party
