TWO brothers who were sought by police for outstanding warrants have turned themselves in. Pavandeep Uppal, 22, and 19 year old Jasondeep Uppal, 19, were wanted on warrants related to charges of forcible confinement, kidnapping, assault causing bodily harm, and assault with a weapon. Jasondeep Uppal is also charged with one count of robbery.
Both men turned themselves in at Surrey Provincial Court on Monday (March 26).
These charges stem from a targeted incident on March 6 where the victim was allegedly confined, assaulted, and then released. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Surrey RCMP thanked the public, news media, and their policing and community partners for their assistance.
