City of Surrey will observe National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II

SURREY City Hall and Surrey Libraries will be closed on Monday, September 19 to observe the National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.

In tribute to the Queen, City Hall Plaza will be illuminated in Royal Purple on Monday.

Recreation centres and pools will remain open with regular hours. In addition, each Town Centre will have a day camp available on Monday to support families who require childcare assistance.

A book of condolences is available for the public to sign in the City Hall atrium until 8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
