In a shocking series of events, director Partho Ghosh was arrested on Monday night on grounds of human trafficking.

According to a report in India Today, the producer and director was arrested from Mumbai’s Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport by the Sahar police. He was accused of human trafficking.

The director was also allegedly released by the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court on bail of Rs.15, 000. Partho has directed films like 100 Days, Agni Sakshi and Yugpurush.
