Sarbjit Singh arrested, warrant issued for Jobanjit Singh in shooting involving Ontario tow truck drivers

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged one individual and issued a warrant for another in relation to a shooting investigation.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, police responded to a physical altercation involving tow truck companies in a parking lot in the area of Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road in Brampton. A victim was located at the scene with minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Following a lengthy investigation, investigators identified the suspects.

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Sarbjit Singh, a 33-year-old man from Brampton, was charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Discharge firearm
  • Assault with a weapon

He was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jobanjit Singh, a 25-year-old man from Brampton, for the following charges:

  • Attempted murder
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm

Jobanjit Singh is encouraged to seek legal counsel and turn himself in to the police.
