ON Wednesday, February 3, at approximately 2 a.m., a 20-year-old man from Mississauga was violently assaulted by a known suspect in the area of Morningstar Drive and Goreway Drive in Mississauga.

After a long and thorough investigation, the suspect was located at a residence in the area of Dixie Road and Bovaird Drive in Brampton.

Hardeep Singh, a 22-year-old man from Brampton, was arrested and charged with one count of attempt murder.

He was held for a bail hearing and will attend the Ontario Court of Justice on Friday, July 30 in Brampton.
