Free pre-arrival support to international professionals in India by PICS Society

PROGRESSIVE Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) in Surrey has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fraser Valley University India.
The signing ceremony took place at GGDSD College in Chandigarh where Raj Brar, Director of Career Services at PICS, Canada, and Tushar Gajwani, Interim Assistant Director of Fraser Valley Campus India, formalized the agreement.
Satbir Cheema, CEO and President of PICS Society said: “We are dedicated to supporting international professionals throughout the immigration process. This collaborative effort aims to ensure a seamless transition to a new country, fostering a sense of confidence and security among them.”

Brar highlighted the ground-breaking nature of the collaboration: “This is one-of-its-kind agreement that has been signed with the explicit purpose of providing free career guidance and counseling to international professionals, thereby facilitating their transition into the Canadian job market,” adding that this would be pre-arrival virtual services for the professionals seeking help.
The collaboration between PICS and the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is poised to make a meaningful impact by offering invaluable assistance and resources to international professionals seeking to build their careers in Canada, PICS said.
