FINALLY!

After all that suspense and rumours and interpretations and misinterpretations about the “roka” ceremony (a pre-engagement ceremony) in the media last December, federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, 38, popped the question to Gurkiran Kaur Sidhua, 27, co-founder of Jangiiro, a firm that specializes in traditional Punjabi clothing.

And this time, the media were invited as Jagmeet’s friends

and family members witnessed the scene at a vegetarian restaurant, the same one where they had their first date, in Toronto on Tuesday.

Jagmeet Singh even posted the photos of the event on Twitter.
