THE next BC Liberal leadership debate will be held in Vancouver on Tuesday, December 14 at 7 p.m., the BC Liberal’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC) announced on Wednesday.

The debate will be streamed live on the party’s website (www.bcliberals.com) and on the party’s Facebook page.

This will be the third in a series of debates held across the province as the party moves towards selecting a new leader on February 5. Additional dates will be announced soon.

“This crucial debate will be the last opportunity for British Columbians to hear directly from the candidates before the deadline to join the party on December 17. We encourage all British Columbians who are interested in this race to tune in,” said Colin Hansen, co-chair of the Party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee.

The election of a new leader will take place on February 5. In order to be eligible to vote, the deadline for individuals to join the party is December 17.
