ON Wednesday just after 11 a.m., Burnaby RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of approximately six demonstrators in the 8600-block of Commerce Court near a Trans Mountain worksite.

Two women jumped the fence and accessed the Trans Mountain worksite. They were arrested for mischief and released on paperwork to attend court.

“At this time, the two individuals are not facing criminal contempt charges,” said Cpl. Mike Kalanj. “However, mischief charges will be forwarded for both.”
